For His Sake I am one; but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I ought to do. What I out to do, by the Grace of God, I will do. Lord, what will you have me do?

Adopted April 5,2008

Fall Assembly October 18th
A Women's Bible Study
The Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh's Family Life Movement will present a Women’s Bible Study by renowned speaker and author, Beth Moore, “Living Beyond Yourself”. Seeking to encourage us, as Saint Paul did in writing to the church in Galatia, this study of the book of Galatians, helps us to see beyond ourselves, to see that God has so much more for the believer than we imagine!
Beth teaches us the Word of God, explaining how we are children of God. We no longer live for ourselves, the Holy Spirit lives within us, and we are joint heirs with Christ. Beth will prompt us to look at our day to day living. Daily, we can live an abundant life through our Lord Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, or be entangled with distractions that keep us from His grace and peace. We will examine what it means to be Spirit filled, and to let the fruit of the Spirit be a blessing to us and a blessing to others. Diving into our Bibles, we will learn the Word of God, so that we may know and have the mind of Christ.
Family Life Movement will offer this Beth Moore Bible study beginning September 4th, 2008, for 11 Thursday evenings. The House of Prayer will be our host at 336 South Home Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202, from 7:30 to 9 PM each evening.
You can get a registration form from your Parish Office.
